Moroccan coach Walid Regragui has unveiled his World Cup squad of 26 players. The Atlas Lions will rely on Hakim Ziyech, the Chelsea winger who has returned to the national squad after being dropped by the previous coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
Abderrazak Hamdallah (Ittihad FC) is another returnee who publicly apologized for slamming the door at the CAN 2019. The pick also includes a teenager from Belgium, Bilal El Khannouss, who is barely 18 years old.
Morocco will compete in Group F and will face Croatia in their opening match on November 23. The Atlas Lions will then face Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku before facing Canada.
