Mohamed al-Badry, the ambassador of Egypt to China, and other representatives of the Egyptian Embassy in Beijing were welcomed by Liu Jianchao, the new foreign minister of the Chinese Communist Party.
The Chinese minister was congratulated by Ambassador Badry on taking on the responsibilities of his new job. Sameh Shoukry is the foreign minister of Egypt.
The conference examined many elements of Egypt-China ties, which are enjoying great prosperity and progress in many fields thanks to the leadership of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
Along with discussing and exchanging opinions on numerous global and regional happenings, they also shared their respective perspectives on topics of mutual interest.
The foreign minister of the Chinese Communist Party praised Egypt’s development, prosperity, and progress in recent years under the leadership of President Sisi, particularly in terms of the country’s rapid infrastructure development and the success of its attempts to present realistic visions to raise the standard of living of the Egyptian people and to achieve stability and social peace.
He complimented Egypt’s capacity to bear the hardships and challenges that the entire world faces.
Badry emphasised the strength of Egyptian-Chinese relations, which are based on advancing the interests of the two countries and peoples and adhering to the fundamental rules that govern international relations. He also emphasized the need for ongoing communication and coordination in a number of areas.
