The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) says that helicopter that crashed into a building in Lagos on Friday does not have a black box.
News Central reports that a Bell 206-B3 helicopter, belonging to Quorum Aviation, was about two minutes to reach its destination at Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMIA) when it crashed into a fence separating two houses at 16A, Salvation Road, Opebi in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
Three people died in the incident.
But the AIB, which is the investigating body in charge of all aviation-related accidents and incidents in Nigeria, has revealed that a probe has started into the incident without a black box.
Mr Tunji Oketunbi, General Manager, Public Affairs, AIB Nigeria, confirmed the development in a statement in Lagos on Friday.

“As the investigating agency, AIB needs and hereby solicits for your assistance. We want the public to know that we would be amenable to receiving any video clip.
“We will also need other relevant evidence, or information any members of the public may have of the accident; that can assist us with this investigation,” he said.
