American R&B star Chris Brown, his associate Sinko Ceej, rapper Yella Beezy, and live Nation have been named in a $50 million lawsuit in relation to a string of alleged attacks during Brown’s 11:11 tour in Fort Worth, Texas.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit accuses the singer of organising the assault of four men backstage at the Fort Worth tour stop on July 20.
The plaintiffs, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, allege that they were invited backstage along with 40 women for a post-concert hang but were subsequently assaulted.
Bush stated that he went to congratulate Brown but was attacked by Brown’s men after one of them mentioned their previous disagreement.
He reported being surrounded by 7-10 of Brown’s men who punched and kicked him, with an entourage member known as Hood Boss even throwing a chair at his head.
The plaintiffs also claim that Brown sent Yella Beezy and his men to attack Parker, chasing him into a dead-end staircase with a locked door.
Parker stated that he was punched and kicked in the head for over 10 minutes after Brown encouraged his companions to join in.
The plaintiffs allege that they sustained severe injuries and required various medical treatments. Their attorney, Tony Buzbee, mentioned that at least one of them remains hospitalised and is determined to bring Chris Brown to justice.
In addition to the $50 million in damages, the plaintiffs have also sought restraining orders against Chris Brown, Yella Beezy, and Sinko Ceej.
There has been no public reaction from Chris Brown and his team regarding the allegations.
