Achike Chude, a Public Affairs Analyst has reacted to the ongoing Lagos- Coastal Highway Saga.
Chude appeared on News Central Morning Show, Breakfast Central on Thursday.
He said The Lagos- Calabar Coastal Highway project came as a surprise to the people. Although past administration had discussed it none made the move.
The move by the Nigerian Federal Government appeared to be too sudden and it didn’t give Nigerians and businesses such as Landmark to prepare for the effect.
He noted that People need to make sacrifices for development but the Government also needs to make greater sacrifices for development.
There is so much confusion movement with this project. The Government is in breach. The Government must do newspaper publications, tell people what they want to do, who the bidders are and every detail possible but the government failed to do this. Watch:
