The Nigerian Army School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (NASEME) marked the commencement of its 2025 training year with a combined inauguration ceremony for eight distinct courses.
The event, held at NASEME, welcomed a diverse group of students, both officers and soldiers, eager to embark on their respective training programs.
The inauguration, which was held on January 27, 2025, at the NASEME Main Auditorium, signifies the beginning of a rigorous and transformative journey for the students, setting the stage for a year of intensive learning and skill development at the prestigious institution.

During the inauguration, the commandant, Major General Oladele Arogundade, addressed the students, emphasising the importance of professionalism in their conduct throughout their stay at the institution.
He urged them to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and respect in all their interactions and activities.
The Commandant stressed that NASEME is not just a place of learning but a breeding ground for future leaders who will uphold the values and ethos of the Nigerian Army.

Major General Arogundade further advised the students to approach their studies with seriousness and dedication, highlighting the critical role that continuous learning plays in their professional development.
He urged them to fully utilise the resources available at NASEME and to engage actively in all aspects of their training.
