Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo are set to miss Saturday’s highly anticipated Clasico against La Liga leaders Barcelona due to injury concerns.
Courtois, who played in Madrid’s 5-2 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, was forced off with an adductor injury in his left leg, confirmed by the club on Wednesday. Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is expected to replace him, having already stepped in earlier this month when Courtois was sidelined with a hip injury.

Meanwhile, Rodrygo suffered a muscular injury during the final moments of the match against Dortmund. Reports suggest the winger is facing a hamstring issue and is likely to miss the crucial clash against Barcelona.
Currently second in the league, Madrid trail Hansi Flick’s Barcelona by three points as they prepare for one of the biggest fixtures of the season.
