The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Friday debunked the videos circulating on Social Media, claiming that the deadly insurgent group Boko Haram has taken responsibility for the NAF Alpha Jet aircraft, which was reported missing in Borno State on 31 March 202.
In a press statement released via the official page of the Nigerian Airforce, the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore, EDWARD GABKWET urged Nigerians to ignore the content of the video until all investigations ar completed.
He further reassured the public of the NAF’s commitment to, remain resolute and continued synergy with sister Services and other security agencies, to rid the North East of all terrorist elements.
