Croatia’s consul in Israel and his wife sustained minor injuries in Iran’s missile strikes on Tel Aviv, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman confirmed on Saturday.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Grlic Radman expressed his distress, saying, “I am shaken by the news that our consul and his wife were injured in the attack on Tel Aviv.” The building they live in was hit.”
He added reassuringly that he had spoken with them, and “fortunately, their injuries are minor, and they are not in any life-threatening condition.”

The Foreign Minister also stated that his ministry is maintaining constant contact with the Croatian embassy in Israel and is implementing all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its personnel.
Radman concluded by strongly condemning the attacks on civilians and diplomatic facilities, calling for “immediate de-escalation and restraint.”
The incident occurred after Israel launched an unprecedented attack on Iran on Friday, striking numerous targets across the country, including nuclear and military sites and residential buildings.
Iran reported 78 fatalities and 320 injuries in this initial wave of Israeli strikes. Iran then retaliated with barrages of drones and missiles aimed at Israel, which resulted in three deaths and dozens wounded.
