    Former President Donald Trump has returned to his New Jersey home after being injured in an assassination attempt at a rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to BBC reports.

    Shots were fired while Trump was speaking at the event, causing panic among the crowd as Secret Service agents rushed to protect him.

    Trump, who emerged with a bloodied face, claimed he had been shot in the ear, recalling hearing a “whizzing sound” and felt a “bullet ripping through skin.”

    Trump Faces Legal Turmoil in New York Amid Asset Seizure Threat

    The FBI identified the gunman as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was fatally shot by the Secret Service.

    One person was killed at the demonstration, while two others were badly injured.
