In a statement, her loved ones said: “Our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a short battle with cancer. She fought valiantly, supported by her loved ones, and we can only imagine the boundless optimism with which she will greet her future. She was an incredible mother and grandmother in addition to being a screen legend. We appreciate the excellent care provided by the Medical Center’s staff.”
