Edo Queens, the champions of the Nigeria Women Football League, have begun preparations for the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
The Benin-based team has initiated a one-month training camp at the Edo State University Stadium, Iyamu.
The WAFU-B playoff tournament is scheduled to be held in Cote d’Ivoire.
The tournament is set to take place from August 10th to 23rd, 2024.
Seven teams are set to partake in the competition and this is Edo Queens’ first appearance in the competition.
