Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2024 Edo State gubernatorial election, has praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for successfully organising the election in the state.
The former Senator, who cast his vote at polling unit 1, Ward 2 in Udomi Primary School, Udomi, Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State, praised the well-coordinated nature of the exercise. He lauded the electoral commission for its efficiency, particularly in his ward.
He said, “This time around I’m voting INEC very high, reasons because everything is moving smoothly and the BVAS is working perfectly. I believe the way it is here, it should be like that everywhere.
“It’s okay here, I don’t know about others but what I’m seeing here is like a testimony that INEC is getting it right.
When asked about getting feedback from other polling units, Okpebholo said some of his friends have called him, informing him that he is getting a lot of votes from different places.
“Here I know that PDP will not get one vote here because this is my home and my people love me”.
