The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), has marked a property alleged to belong to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso for investigation.
A source in the commission who doesn’t want his name mentioned noted that the operatives of the anti-graft agency listed the multi-billion Naira property among many properties allegedly acquired illegally by the former governor.
The source further hinted that the operation was sequel to a petition of misappropriation of funds by some concerned indigenes who claimed he diverted the funds during his stewardship as the governor of the most populous state in the country.
The property is said to be located at Miller road Kano and it already has the inscription “keep off EFCC Under investigation”
