The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has issued a statement declaring that it will, on Wednesday 23 March at 11:00am, take to police station to accompany Victor Ramerafe to open a case against Nhlanhla Lux of Operation Dudula for house breaking, intimidation and assault.

“The EFF will accompany Ntate Victor Ramerafe, who will open a case against Nhlanhla Lux for breaking and entering into his home, as well as intimidation and assault,” it stated.

Lux’s name has made the buzz lately, with many politicians stating they’ll halt his operation Dudula movement.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, Julius Malema and Musi Maimane to name a few, have publicly condemned operation Dudula spearheaded by Nhlanhla Lux, declaring the movement as “unlawful and Xenophobic”. Lux has on a daily basis attended interviews with several media houses and has explained why the movement was required.

Victor Ramerafe was said to have been linked with drug trafficking in and around Dobsonville when Operation Dudula stormed his residence.

Lux has repeatedly stated that he is not interested in politics or politicking, but he is interested in the lives and well-being of ordinary citizens in the country. He said young people in places of governance can better the conversation about their wellbeing and their future.

Lux earlier gained public attention when he along with his fellow team members saved Maponya Mall from the unknown looters. Saving the mall he becomes
the star in the eyes of African people.

In his address on Monday for Human Rights Day, Malema seized the opportunity to disparage Operation Dudula, saying instead of throwing hate towards “fellow African brothers and sisters” he should focus on sending frustration towards white people and demand the land back. He added that South Africans should direct their angst at the ruling African National Congress(ANC) and let illegal foreign nationals be.
