The Government of Egypt has offered condolences to Canada over a series of mass stabbing that killed and wounded at least 25 people across multiple crime scenes in the province of Saskatchewan.
The government extended its deepest condolences to the Canadian government and victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, Spokesman for the ministry Ahmed Abo Zeid said on social media.
Canadian police have launched a manhunt for two men suspected of stabbing at least 10 people to death in a rampage that has shocked the nation.
Two suspects -Myles Sanderson and Damien Sanderson fled leaving their surviving victims in 13 locations in the remote indigenous community James Smith Cree Nation and nearby Weldon.
It is one of the deadliest acts of mass violence Canada has seen. PM Justin Trudeau said it was “heartbreaking”.
