Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a Kuwaiti delegation of prominent figures from the business community in Kuwait, led by Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Jassem Al-Sager on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the Egyptian Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady, the President welcomed the meeting, which embodies the spirit of mutual cooperation between Egypt and the State of Kuwait.
President El-Sisi emphasised that Egypt looks forward to further advancing economic and trade cooperation with the Kuwaiti businessmen community and Kuwaiti companies.
The Kuwaitis also seek to improve their investments in Egypt, given the diverse investment opportunities offered in developmental sector as well as Egypt’s nationwide modern infrastructure, including energy supplies, the transport network, roads, and modern ports.
This is, in addition to the advanced legislative framework for the investment process, the robust will and the supportive political decision at the highest level. The President noted that all these are factors representing a solid and supportive base for foreign investment in Egypt.
The Kuwaiti businessmen conveyed to President El-Sisi the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah, and His Highness Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshal Al-Sabah.
The Kuwaiti attendees commended the remarkable, significant and unprecedented progress in all development sectors in Egypt, which was achieved in record time. They pointed out President El-Sisi’s relentless and consistent personal follow-up of procedures taken to facilitate the flow of investments to Egypt and all related measures.
