Egypt to Establish Youth Cities and 700 five-a-side Stadiums (News Central TV)

As part of its sustainable development plan for the fiscal year 2022/2023, the Egyptian government has submitted its programme to the House of Representatives.

In a bid to reach its goals in the youth and sports sector, the state aims to establish different sports and cultural facilities for youths across the country.

The plan includes developing 700 five-a-side stadiums, 8 hospitals and sports medicine units, a youth centre, 6 youth camps in four governorates, 7 youth cities, 7 stadiums, five sports cities, 60 clubs and 4 civil education centres in Fayoum, Matrouh, Beni Suef, and Sohag.

In the culture sector, the state will develop 20 cultural palaces, 9 children’s culture houses, and 4 theatres, in addition to developing several museums, including: the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, and establishing 3 branches of the Public Library of Egypt.
