Egypt’s military is fully prepared to confront any challenges facing the nation, according to armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Gharib Abdel Hafez.

Speaking to the official Middle East News Agency, Abdel Hafez underscored the army’s commitment to safeguarding national security, highlighting the intensive efforts by military personnel to maintain full readiness.

He stressed that national unity behind Egypt’s political leadership is crucial in overcoming the country’s current challenges.

On the Palestinian issue, Abdel Hafez reaffirmed Egypt’s long-standing position, stating that the country continues to support the establishment of a Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He warned that the displacement of Palestinians from their land would amount to an attempt to eliminate their cause.
