Egypt’s Agricultural Exports Rise to 4.3 Million Tons

Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed El Quseir has revealed that the country’s agricultural exports have, so far passed 4.2 million tons.

Relying on a report presented by head of the Central Administration of Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) Ahmed el Attar which covers the total export volume in the last seven months.

The report showed a 750,000-ton increase in the agricultural exports, compared to the same period last year.

According to the CAPQ report, some of the exported agriculture products during this period included onions, strawberry, beet, citrus, pomegranate, sweet potatoes, beans, chilli, guava, mango, garlic, grapes, peach, and watermelon.
