Egypt’s tourism sector is getting more boost, with more arrivals from across the world. The Marsa Alam International Airport received Saturday 30 international flights, mostly from Europe – the largest weekly arrival during the week among the 69 international flights received by the airport during the week.
Records reveal that 60 flights are scheduled to arrive Marsa Alam Airport next week from European countries. It also indicates 3 domestic flights, and 6 other international flights.
The flights also revealed that among the weekly flights were 3 flights from Belgium, 4 from the Netherlands, 8 from Italian airports, 12 flights from German airports, 15 Czech flights, 16 from Poland, 3 flights from Switzerland and 3 domestic flights belonging to EgyptAir.
Marsa Alam International Airport received 4 international flights from different airports, including flights from Germany, among 64 international flights that arrived during the past week.
Worthy of note are some favourite tourist destinations such as the Pyramids. Any journey to Egypt is incomplete without watching the Pyramids and the legendary site of the Sphinx.Others include the Mount Sinai or the Mountain of Moses which is figurative in all holy religions; the Saint Catherine’s Monastery which lies at the bottom of the mountain. It is one of the oldest monasteries around the world and listed on the UNESCO’s Heritage Site among others.
