Eko Electricity to Upgrade Services from October 18 to 21

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC)

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), one of the major power firms in the country, has announced a major system upgrade to improve its services for customers.

According a statement released by the company, the upgrade will take place from 6 pm on Friday, October 18, to 6 am on Monday, October 21, 2024.

“We are thrilled to announce that Eko Disco is moving to a new All-In-One (AIO) customer experience vending platform from Friday, October 18 to Monday, October 21, 2024,” the statement said on Tuesday.

During this period, customers may face difficulties purchasing or loading tokens for prepaid meters. EKEDC advised consumers to plan ahead for the scheduled downtime and to ensure they buy enough meter credits to last through the four days.

The company also assured customers that its customer care team would be available throughout the upgrade to handle any queries or provide support.

The purpose of the upgrade is to adopt advanced technology that will allow for smoother and more efficient services across EKEDC’s service areas.

The company said this move was part of its commitment to setting new standards in the Nigerian electricity industry.
