#EndBadGovernance: Kano Protests Turn Violent as Hoodlums Loot Shops, Offices

Hoodlums Hijack #EndBadGovernance Protests in Kano (News Central TV)

The protest in Kano, which started as a demonstration against economic hardships in Nigeria on Thursday, suddenly turned violent.

People taking advantage of the situation began looting shops and offices.

They attacked businesses, breaking into stores, and stealing valuable items like chairs and computers.

The Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) Industrial Pack in Kano, yet to be commissioned, was also looted heavily by the miscreants.

News Central reports that operatives of the Kano State Police Command earlier today, dispersed a group of youths who tried to break into Sadaraki Stores along Zoo road in the state capital.

The suspects managed to damage the store’s windows before the arrival of security forces, who quickly intervened to prevent further damage.

The attempted break-in of Sadaraki Stores came as widespread protests kicked off across Nigeria against bad governance and economic hardship.
