It was mixed fortunes for Nigeria’s remaining continental representatives as Enyimba lost heavily in Sudan while Rivers Utd won an important fixture in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Godwin Aguda got the curtain raiser for Rivers Utd before Fortune Omoniwari doubled the lead.
Rivers, from Southern Nigeria faced a COVID-19 scare before the game as three of the squad members tested positive for the virus.
Enyimba will also look to qualify only if they are able to overturn the 3-0 deficit suffered in Sudan.
