The Champions League and Confederation Cup draws for the 2023–2024 season will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, according to the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
The organisation declared that 52 clubs representing 41 Member Associations will play in the CAF Confederation Cup, while 54 clubs representing 42 Member Associations will participate in the CAF Champions League this season.
Nigeria will be represented at the CAF Champions League by Enyimba FC and Remo Stars, the winners and runners-up of the 2023 Nigeria Premier League (NPL) Super-Six playoffs.
Bendel Insurance, the FA Cup champion, and Rivers United of Port Harcourt, who placed third in the playoffs, will participate in the Confederations Cup.
The Champions League qualifying round is scheduled to occur between August 18 and August 26, 2023. From November 24, 2023 to May 26, 2024, the actual tournament will take place.
The Confederation Cup qualifying rounds, on the other hand, will begin between August 20 and October 1, 2023. Between November 26, 2023 and May 17, 2024, the tournament will take place.
The draw will begin at 11am Nigerian time at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
