Rema, the Nigerian superstar who extended his record-breaking run on the Billboard Hot 100 has performed two hit singles on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the US and it has gotten his fans excited.
The Mavin / Jonzing world artiste, sparked a lot of positive reactions to the performance of his global smash hit ‘Calm down’ and his most recent release ‘Holiday’. The Edo-born Afro-rave singer is dubbed one of the fastest-growing African musicians with the success of his debut album ‘Rave and Roses’.
On the chart dated April 8, 2023, Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix featuring Selena Gomez retains its spot at its peak position of NO. 8 on Billboards Hot 100, extending its record to two weeks as the highest charting African song on the chart.
Following the positive reactions to his performance on Jimmy Fallon show, the 22-year-old star tweeted “I like that you’ve watched me be happy, sad, insecure, hype, stressed out, make mistakes & figure things out.
