Ferrari has introduced its latest limited-edition supercar, the F80, which blends design and technology from endurance racing and Formula 1.
Despite its hefty price tag of 3.6 million euros (£3.1 million), all 799 units are already sold out.
Presented in Maranello, Ferrari’s hometown, the F80 is part of the automaker’s strategy to maintain interest among its high-end clients as it prepares to release its first fully electric vehicle next year.
Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Enrico Galliera, said the F80 “is the car that raises the standard of our range,” adding, “It’s a car we hope would make history in coming years”.
Ferrari’s exclusive supercars—offered roughly once every decade—showcase cutting-edge technology.
The previous model, LaFerrari, was launched in 2013, followed by its open-top version, Aperta, in 2016.
The F80 is powered by a 1,200-horsepower hybrid engine, derived from Ferrari’s successes in the World Endurance Championship, including two recent victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It also features advanced suspension, lightweight 3D-printed components, and a unique interior with the driver’s seat positioned slightly ahead of the passenger’s.
Deliveries will commence in late 2025, with production expected to extend until 2027, aligning with Ferrari‘s 80th anniversary celebrations.
