The presidents of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr Patrice Motsepe, have sent birthday greetings to Amaju Pinnick, a member of the FIFA Council, who celebrates his 54th birthday today.
Mattias Grafström, FIFA’s Secretary General, also conveyed his greetings to Pinnick, who served as President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) from 2014 to 2022.
“I wish you a world of happiness, good health, and great success for the year ahead on this most special of days,” Grafström said.
“May you continue to inspire those around you with your positivism and love for our wonderful game as you celebrate your 54th birthday with your loved ones.
“I’m looking forward to congratulating you in person very soon and to celebrating more victories and new goals with you!”
In his message, Infantino wrote: “Happy birthday! I want to wish you the absolute best on this very special day, dear Amaju.
“As we celebrate your birthday, it is an opportunity to reflect on our collaboration and to thank you for your efforts and contributions within the FIFA Council towards the development of the sport that unites us all—football.
“May this year bring you good health, joy, success, and fulfilment both personally and professionally.”

“Having a seasoned and well-respected leader like you is a blessing and a blessing for Nigerian and African football.
