The ban on Nigeria’s Premier Football League team, Katsina United, has been lifted by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
Katsina United had been banned from signing new players due to a payment dispute with a former player.
FIFA decided after the player Mohamadou Souley Salamoun confirmed that he had received the wages the club owed him.
Reports indicate that the football team has strengthened its team by signing four new players.
The Chanji Boys are anticipated to make further signings before the season commences. Katsina United is set to play their first match of the upcoming season against Plateau United.
