Finding a Solution to the Resource War in D R Congo (News Central TV)

In spite of its overabundance of natural resources and the world’s second-largest rainforest, the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) has been plagued by resource wars, which has resulted in the deaths of over 5 million people.

These conflicts have been caused by individuals, corporations, and rebel groups all vying for control of the country’s valuable resources.

One of the main reasons for the resource wars in the DRC is the abundance of minerals, particularly coltan, which is used in the manufacture of electronic devices.

The effects of these resource wars on the nation and its people have been devastating. In addition to the loss of life, the ongoing conflict has led to the displacement of millions of people, the destruction of infrastructure and economies, and a breakdown in the rule of law.
