Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react to this development. TV Personality and Journalist Rufai Oseni tweeted and said: “Tinubu has 47 ministers; Fintiri has 47 media aides. Finito!”
Twitter influencer @Savyrinu also expressed her displeasure and said: “Gov. Fintiri of Adamawa announced 47 special and senior special assistants for media, social media and content creation. In a state where over 70% live in abject poverty, one of the poorest in Nigeria. Propaganda & image laundering over governance.”
Another Twitter user @IamPisMaker said: “Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri appointing 35 aides for social media PR or whatever it may be is totally inconsequential. With regard to the poverty in Adamawa and rate at which the Nigerian state took a severe negative effect on the economy, one would expect a state governor who.”
One @MayowaKufile tweeted and said: “Governor Fintiri took content creation to another level cause HTF are you having 2 SA, 10 SSA and 34 Special Assistants on your media team. Wetin you dey create.”
