Tamar Braxton attempted to commit suicide a few weeks ago. Tamar Braxton’s boyfriend, David Adefeso following the incidence which occurred On July 16, 2020, has filed a restraining order against her.
According to TMZ, Adefeso had on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, requested the order of protection against Braxton. The singer sent an email to her network’s bosses, accusing them of destroying her family and making her “suicidal.” the mail reads;
“We fight with each other, we betray each other, and now we’re physically assaulting each other — all happening because your show [‘Braxton Family Values’] has chosen to show the absolute worst side of a strong, independent and successful African American family; A show that I created to showcase a strong Black Family as a beacon of hope for all the young black girls and boys out there; instead you coached and cajoled us into finding the worst in each other,” part of the letter read.
The singer who is the last of the Braxton siblings was a co-host on the Fox syndicated daytime talk show “The Real” from 2013 until 2016, for which she received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations. In 2019, she won the second season of Celebrity Big Brother. Since 2011, Braxton has starred in the We TV reality television series Braxton Family Values alongside her mother and sisters.
Following the restraining order saga by David Adefeso, in Tamar’s defense;
She says her Nigerian boyfriend, David Adefeso allegedly threatened to kill her. Sources close to Braxton have in support said Adefeso threatened not only her life but his own.
According to Blast, the former host of ‘The Real’ and Adefeso got into a heated altercation while driving to check the reality star into a mental health facility for treatment. It is reported that Braxton had questioned Adefeso about a post he shared via his Instagram page recently. At that point, the couple apparently began arguing and Tamar told David he was “around for the wrong reasons and could not be trusted.” The ‘Braxton Family Values’ star claims David became “irate, threatening not only her life but his own.” She claims he said, they were going to end up in a “murder-suicide.”
According to sources close to Tamar, at that point, the argument turned violent and she says he “grabbed her hard” on the arms and caused bruising.
This latest revelation is came barely 24 hours after Adefeso filed a restraining order against her.
