A morning fire outbreak has been reported at a mall in the popular Balogun Market in Lagos State, SouthWest Nigeria.
The fire was said to have started from one of the market buildings, on Martins Street, Lagos.

Operatives of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, as well as other first responders arrived promptly to put out the fire.

Balogun market has witnessed several fire outbreaks in recent times. This includes November 2019, 2020, 2021 and earlier in 2022 wherein goods worth millions of naira were destroyed.
