One of the Nigerian artistes making waves in the music industry has recently dropped his sophomore album. His debut album “laughter, tears and Goosebumps” was a hit, and eight months later, Fireboy Dml gracefully released another banger.
Early this year, the album was teased by Olamide after he announced the YBNL deal with Empire distribution.
“Apollo” has about 17 tracks in it, and it features artistes like, Wande Coal, Olamide, D smoke. Olamide whose, with songs like “tattoo”, “favourite song”, “Sadé”, “Eli’’ and thirteen other songs including an interlude, and working with producers like Pheelz on the album.
There is no doubt that Fireboy’s record label; YBNL, is instrumental to the success of the album. The Afro life singer took to his twitter just a day before the release of his second album to appreciate his record label and those that have contributed to his album, as well as the voices that were on it.

The amazing singer and songwriter released the album on Thursday, midnight and was announced on his Twitter page, “what a time to be alive. Apollo out now’’
A lot of people are impressed with the excellent singer that is Fireboy Dml, particularly his fans, as some of them are certain this album would be nominated for Grammys, some people referred o him as someone that is bold, considering the fact that African’s giant; Burna boy released his album couple of days back and Fireboy did not allow the buzz simmer before dropping his second album, making comparisons inevitable.
The talented singer says his second album is about evolution, growth, love and pain, and who better to give us a song that is soulful and has its vocal dexterity on check as well as meaningful lyrics than Fireboy.
