Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has arrived in Kaduna State for a two-day working visit. Accompanied by the Wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, she was warmly received at the Kaduna Air Force Base by Governor Uba Sani.
During her visit, the First Lady will distribute professional kits to midwives across the North West states. She is also set to launch the Free to Shine Triple Elimination campaign for the region.

In a related development, at least 500 women in Kogi State were empowered by Mrs Tinubu through the Office of Sustainable Development Goals, to enable them have financial independence and sustainable livelihood.
During the distribution of the items in Lokoja, Mrs Tinubu said the empowerment programme is in line with the renewed hope agenda of the present administration.
