The International Organiation for Migration (IOM) said Wednesday that 246 migrants returned to Libya after being rescued off the coast last week.
Between April 24-30, 246 migrants were intercepted at sea and returned to Libya, IOM said in a statement.
There are 410 women and 175 minors among the 4,461 travellers rescued and returned to Libya so far this year.
However, 114 migrants died while 436 others have gone missing on the Central Mediterranean route this year, it added.
IOM revealed that last year, a total of 32,425 immigrants were rescued and returned to Libya, while 662 died and 891 others went missing off the Libyan coast on the Central Mediterranean route.
