The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy (FMCIDE) has launched an Advisory Committee to oversee and guide the 3 Million Technical Talent, 3MTT programme, a major initiative aimed at building a skilled technical workforce to advance Nigeria’s digital economy.
Chaired by Emeka Afigbo, Senior Director of Developer Success at Okta, the committee comprises notable industry leaders, including Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, founder of Future Africa; Ope Bukola, CEO of Kibo School; Oji Udezue, former Chief Product Officer at Typeform, Calendly, and Twitter; Joy Omoregie, GTM Acceleration Lead at AWS; Bola Lawal, CEO of PremiaBN; and Amal Hassan, CEO of Outsource Global.
Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of FMCIDE, expressed gratitude to the committee members for volunteering their time, stating: “I want to sincerely appreciate these exceptional individuals for volunteering their time and support, as we look forward to benefiting from their diverse expertise and experience”.
This advisory team will play a crucial role in steering the programme toward achieving its objective of developing a capable and expansive technical workforce for the nation.
