In a prestigious ceremony held in Nigeria, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, was among the recipients of a fellowship from the Osigwe Anyiam-Osigwe Foundation. The event, which marked the 16th edition of the foundation’s annual lecture series, was attended by members of the diplomatic corps and the international community.

News Central reports that Chief Emeka Anyaoku, a global statesman extraordinaire, chaired the lecture. The foundation honoured the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, and Boris Johnson for their contributions to the foundation.

Themed “Rehumanising Human Experience: A synopsis of Anyiam Osigwe’s Treatises,” Johnson delivered a keynote address and discussed various issues, including the Nigerian art and creative industry and ways to promote love and peace in Lagos following the recent elections. The fellowship awarded to Boris Johnson, Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, and Chief Emeka Anyaoku is a testament to their commitment and dedication to the foundation’s mission.
