Fulham manager Marco Silva has not ruled out the possibility of taking a job in Saudi Arabia, amid reports linking him to a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal.

Silva, whose current contract at Craven Cottage runs until 2026, is reportedly on the radar of the Riyadh-based club.

Speaking to the press ahead of Fulham’s Premier League clash with Everton, Silva said he remains open to opportunities beyond Europe, though his ambitions have so far been evident.

“As a manager, you have to be open to everything the market offers,” the 47-year-old said on Friday. “I’m not saying I wouldn’t work outside Europe — it’s something that could happen one day.”

Now in his fourth season at Fulham, Silva has steered the club to mid-table stability, with his team currently sitting 11th in the Premier League. His success has attracted attention, including speculation that he could be in contention for the Tottenham job should Ange Postecoglou be dismissed.

A move to Al Hilal would see Silva reunited with former Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who left for the Saudi side in 2023.

Silva admitted the two are still in regular contact, though he insisted their conversations have not included any discussion about a potential switch.

“I speak with Mitrovic from time to time, but not about this situation,” Silva said. “My focus is on Fulham — helping the club prepare for the future and achieving our goals this season. When things go well, speculation is normal, but it doesn’t distract me.”

Silva previously managed in the Premier League with Hull City, Watford, and Everton before taking charge at Fulham in 2021.
