Harry Wilson delivered a sensational finish to Fulham’s clash with Brentford, scoring twice in stoppage time to seal a 2-1 victory on Monday. The dramatic comeback secured three points for Fulham, lifting them to ninth in the Premier League.
Vitaly Janelt had initially put Brentford ahead in the 24th minute, firing a powerful strike past Bernd Leno against the run of play. Despite relentless pressure, Fulham struggled to break through Brentford’s defense for most of the game, only finding the equaliser in added time.
Wilson, who came on as a substitute, first flicked home a looping effort from Adama Traore’s cross. Just moments later, his attempted header fortuitously found the net off his shoulder, wrong-footing Brentford’s Mark Flekken.
Fulham’s comeback leaves Brentford in 12th place, narrowly missing out on a top-half position.
