Draws for the 2023 African Cup of Nations were held today in South Africa with forty-eight nations knowing their opponents.
The competition slated for next year in Ivory Coast will see twenty-four African countries feature.
Twelve groups, A to L were drawn with four teams in each group.
The best two teams in each group will automatically qualify for the tournament next year.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles were drawn in group A alongside Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau and São Tomé and Principe. Ghana were drawn alongside Madagascar, Angola and the Central African Republic.
South Africa in group K have Morocco, Liberia and Zimbabwe to contend with.
