On July 23, 2022, at 4pm, Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, will formally lay the cornerstone for the construction of the much-anticipated five-star Radisson Blu Banjul Hotel.
One of the top priorities for the upcoming OIC Heads of State and Government Summit in The Gambia is the construction of a five-star hotel.
The government of The Gambia, through the concessionaire Immoland Sarl, and the people of The Gambia jointly hold a new company called IMMOGAM Hotels and Resorts, under which the Radisson Blu Banjul is housed.
The project will cost $100 million. The opulent hotel will offer 60 presidential and royal suites in addition to 400 luxurious rooms.
The five-star hotel will make sure the visitors have an appropriate lodging experience. Additionally, by offering opulent lodging options for affluent travelers, it will broaden our tourism portfolio.
The Gambia’s government and its partners are still dedicated to holding a memorable Summit and advancing the nation’s social, economic, and infrastructure advancement.
Recall, in May 2022, the Radisson Hotel Group announced the opening of a hotel in South Sudan‘s fast-growing capital and largest city, Juba, as part of its ambitious African growth and development plan.
