Reports indicate that Dawda Jallow, a 25-year-old Gambian, was killed by his fellow countryman on Sunday morning at a refugee camp after a brawl broke out.

Authorities in Stuttgart verified the terrible situation. On Sunday morning, a fight broke out at a Sielmingen refugee residence in Germany, severely injuring a 25-year-old.

Dawda passed away at the scene of the incident, according to the press announcement. After the incident, emergency services arrived on the scene.

According to reports, Jallow was hemorrhaging heavily when the rescue crew showed up. Despite numerous attempts to save his life, including resuscitation, he apparently passed away from his wounds.

According to sources, a 26-year-old has subsequently been detained on the basis of significant suspicion. Initial on-site investigations apparently led to suspicions regarding a 26-year-old Gambian who used to reside in the building but was no longer there.

Accordingly, “at around nine o’clock the suspect came to the Filderstadt police station on his own initiative and stated that he had had an argument with his 25-year-old compatriot.  He was provisionally arrested.  The criminal police have taken over the investigation into the course of events and the background, which is still ongoing at the moment.”

Reports say the suspect was scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Monday. Conflict between Gambians is growing more regular, according to a Gambian living in Germany who asked to remain anonymous.

Dr. George Bouché, the Gambian Honorary Counsel in Germany, stated that he has not yet received official notification from the police. He stated, “I just heard it from a fellow Gambian.
