One-year-old Ghanaian, Ace Liam, has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming a Guinness World Record Holder. The toddler, who undertook the challenge in Accra between January 18 and 20, 2024, now holds the esteemed title of the youngest artist in the world.
This exceptional achievement was officially unveiled at a press conference held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
The confirmation letter read; “We are thrilled to inform you that your application for Youngest Artist (male) has been successful and you are now the Guinness World Records Title Holder!”
In a mood of gratitude, Chantelle Eghan, Ace Liam’s mother, narrated their journey to fame. She revealed that Ace Liam commenced his quest for the World Record on Friday, December 18, at the Museum of Science and Technology, where he exhibited his paintings. The proud mother elaborated that Ace Liam had begun his artistic journey at six months, with his latest creation marking his impressive 13th piece.
Explaining the requirements for the Guinness World Record attempt, she stated, “For his category, they provide specific criteria. He needs to participate in an exhibition, make sales, and provide evidence of the event, including media coverage and social media handles. If he doesn’t sell the artwork, he won’t qualify.”
Before Ace Liam, Dante Lamb achieved the feat at the age of three in 2003.
