The Ghanaian music community and fans are in deep mourning following the untimely passing of gospel sensation Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, better known by his stage name, Koda.
Koda’s death on Sunday has left a void that many are struggling to come to terms with. While the exact cause of his death remains undisclosed, there are indications that he battled kidney disease.
Beyond his musical prowess, Koda was also recognised as a gifted producer. His uplifting lyrics, paired with his soulful melodies, touched the hearts of many across Ghana.
Among his chart-topping hits are songs like “Hossana,” “Nkwaa Abodo,” “Nsem Pii,” and “Adooso,” each of which has left an indelible mark on the Ghanaian gospel music landscape.
At just 46, Koda’s passing has left his wife and three children bereft of a loving husband and father. His legacy, however, will continue to inspire and uplift countless souls through his timeless music.
