Following the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) many Nigerian celebrities have come out to lend their voices and of of them is Tomike Adeoye, award winning actor and entrepreneur, brand influencer and ambassador extraordinaire and media personality.
She calls out The Federal Government Of Nigeria on an Instagram post. She laments of the unpleasant happenings in Nigeria and discloses that she is tired of saying the same thing over and over when the complaints of the citizens fall on deaf ears.
@theasovilla @nigeriagov this post is for you! 😠🙄I’m staring at you wondering if it’s that you no dey see or hear your citizens because the matter don really tire me! I no understand why we go dey talk the same thing for 600years and you’re just there chilling like “when they’re tired they will keep quiet”
She narrates her ordeals and says thanks to her marriage, she and her husband would have been victims of this brutality. She challenges the Government of Nigeria to give her three reasons why SARS are on the streets and she would give them three thousand reasons why we should not have Sarz on the streets anymore.
If you’re not tired of ignoring us then we won’t be tired of complaining either! Give me 3 reasons why you still have those glorified uniform wearing criminals on our streets and I’ll give you 3,000 reasons why you should have ended that movement a long time ago! It’s wedding band that has saved my husband and I from their brutality endless times but does that even make sense??
I can’t count how many times I’ve come down from my vehicle to insult the hell out of them on the streets just because they’re harassing one person or the other! I’m tired of shouting like a mad woman because of these “your boys”
The media personality reveals that criminals are better than SARS, because she has failed to understand their mission and their code of conducts. She also advised the government to keep SARS in their homes for their own protection and get them off the streets, because they are not protecting Nigerians, instead they are causing more harm than good to the nation.
Countless times I ask myself, what is their mission? What is their code of conduct because they’re even worse than criminals in KiriKiri! I don’t get why they’re still on our streets! It’s not okay! Many will say they’re there to protect you! Protect who?? I think you guys at the top need the protection more! Keep them in your houses not on our streets!
Dear leaders, it’s time to wake up before your criminals wake you up by force! If you keep ignoring us, remember there’s something called karma! Don’t wait till they brutalize your own children before you understand what we’ve been trying to explain for years!!
