Governor Seyi Makinde Wins Oyo Governorship Re-Election (News Central TV)

Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  Seyi Makinde has been declared the winner of the Oyo state governorship election.

Makinde was successfully re-elected in the election which took place on Saturday.

Makinde defeated Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord Party to win the election.

State Resident Electoral Commission, Tella Adeniran, declared Makinde the winner after Makinde 563,756 votes, Folarin secured 256,685 and the Accord candidate had 38,357 votes
