Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya, popularly Known as Rico Swavey, has been confirmed dead. The former reality TV star was involved in a ghastly accident and on life support in the hospital.
He however died as a result of injuries sustained by the ghastly auto crash involving a white car and an 18-seater bus. The car was a complete write off with the intensity of damage.
Here are some things you may not have known about Rico Swavey.
1. Rico Swavey, real name Patrick Fakoya was a Nigerian lawyer, musician, actor and social media influencer.
2. Although he never mentioned this in the Big Brother house, Rico was also a trained lawyer. He studied law at Babcock University.
3. Rico entered the show to help his cousin who has autism and to invest in his music.
4. He was born in a large family. He had seven siblings.
5. He was best known for his role in the drama series ‘Life 101’
6. Rico Swavey was a musician with a number of Hip hop and ‘alternative’ tracks to his credit.
7. Until his tragic accident on 11th of October, he was focused on being an Afrobeat singer and dropped his album on the 10th of July titled ‘Boy Affi’
