It’s been music festival season these past few weeks with several music shows headlined by some of the biggest stars thrilling fans all across the African continent. The Afronation music concert wrapped up over the weekend and there were a lot of surprises. 

Ton of stars hit the stage from, ‘Love Nwantiti’ singer Ckay, hit star Oxlade, Nigeria’s Psquare, even youngster REMA. Homegrown stars also rocked the stage, Ghanaian pop star Kidi, to Heavyweight musician Stonebwoy, Black sheriff amongst others. 

Afro queen Tiwa savage had fans talking about her outfit choice for her performance. The all-black see-through look had some fans cheering and others criticisng, but nothing stopped the multi-award-winning star from putting on a good show.

American rapper Meek mill was also in attendance, the 35 year old star was mobbed by several fans during his time in Ghana for the concert. Meek mill who headlined day ones show spoke out online about the scary experience with his Ghanaian fans; he even revealed someone pickpocketed his phone. I guess the fans were overly excited to see him, Recall that the rapper found out earlier in the year that he was 18% Ghanaian.

Unfortunately, the AFRONATION show came to a halt abruptly, the organisers put out a statement online closing the show before its scheduled time over safety concerns for the audience and public. There were no emergencies or casualties reported from the recently concluded Afronation GHANA festival.
