Olympic champion Grant Holloway won the US Indoor Athletics Championships on Saturday, extending his 11-year unbeaten streak in the 60m hurdles with a world-leading time of 7.36 seconds.
Holloway, the reigning Olympic 110m hurdles champion and three-time global outdoor champion, finished ahead of Cameron Murray, who claimed silver in 7.41 seconds, and Johnny Brackins, who took third in 7.43 seconds.
Holloway, 27, has been unbeatable in the indoor hurdles for more than a decade, with his most recent setback coming in 2014, while still in high school. Saturday’s victory in New York marked Holloway’s 69th consecutive victory in the tournament.

The flamboyant hurdles king will now seek a third consecutive world indoor gold in next month’s World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China.
Masai Russell, another Olympic hurdles winner, mirrored Holloway’s success in the women’s 60m hurdles.
Russell, the 100m hurdles gold medallist in Paris last August, won her maiden US indoor title in 7.74 seconds, the quickest time in the globe this year. Grace Stark finished second in 7.76 seconds, with Christina Clemons third in 7.81 seconds.
